Full name of Barbie doll is Barbara Millicent Roberts. Her official birthday is March 9, 1959. The very first Barbie appeared in black-and-white striped swimsuit and was sold for $3.00. She was unveiled to the toy industry during New York Toy Fair. Barbie was inspired by paper dolls. It is the most popular fashion doll ever produced. Barbie pink is its signature colour. Height of Barbie is 11.5 inches. She has had more than 180 inspiration careers. She made her European debut in 1961.
