Frequency Table
The frequency of a data value can be defined as the number of times it occurs in a given data set. A frequency table is formed when the collected data values are arranged in ascending order of magnitude along with their corresponding frequencies. We need to count the frequencies to make a frequency distribution table. The main purpose of constructing this table is to show the number of times a value occurs. This organized tabulation of the numbers in different categories on the scale of measurement. This data needs to be organized in a meaningful form so that any emerging trend can be easily seen.
